EVENING CLASS | CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME
CURRENTLY WORKING AND YOU WANT TO DEVELOP NEW SKILLS OR INCREASE YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF FASHION DESIGN?
For people who are employed (or seeking employment), IPAC Design Geneva offers a one-year certification programme. Strong motivation is the only pre-requisite.
With 2 evening courses per week (18:30 – 21:30, the programme is made up of six 36-hour course modules led by industry professionals. Each unit is worth a certain number of credits which total 15 per year.
Beginner or advanced levels are offered, according to the student's experience and knowledge.
This programme is aimed at adults who cannot devote themselves to a full-time academic schedule or who wish to increase their professional proficiency.
It allows them to discover the specifics of the world of fashion, to work on their own style and to find their path in this profession.
After completing the programme, students receive their certification on the condition that all 6 modules have been completed successfully and they have received a positive review from the graduation panel at the end of the year.
A student is allowed to skip a module upon proof that he or she already has the necessary skills or knowledge.
> Monday from 18:30 to 21:30.
Styling = understanding the technical and theoretical basics of creating a collection. Build a trend book taking into account ambiance. Create a clothing line. Basic drawing and fashion figure modelling using hand drawing techniques.
> Wednesday from 18:30 to 21:30.
Modelling = basics of cutting and moulding. Developing and finding a mentor. Creating a prototype on canvas. Sewing basics. Introduction to moulding. Conceiving and creating a technical dossier.

4,800.00 CHF per year.
Application fee : 400.00 CHF (A one-time administrative fee to create your dossier).
Different payment methods are possible: quarterly or annually.
